Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I have been having lots and lots of heartburn/acid reflux/ even been told irritable bowel syndrome is a possibility. I never have any pain with this misery. The head of my bed is up six inches or so from the floor. I even lie on my left side to prevent acid from coming up into my throat. I have had test and given much acid medicine. The last stomach test they still found nothing more than acid to be controlled by Rolaids or Tum. I feel very full even when I eat a small mean. it seems that my meals is having to be smaller and smaller and my bowels is really not functioning right at all...constipation is quite frequent. And I am trying to decide now should I go in for more of the same test. Amazing chewing gum help more than any medicine. I am really tired. Do you have any advise to help me? I gladly appreciate any at all!
