Suggest Treatment For Heartburn And Rashes On The Back

I am having problems swallowing, have a rash on my back, and heartburn. this has never happened to me before. My newest medicine only taking a week is a blood pressure medicine. (losartan-hctz) . she told me stop taking this. Gave me a shot of benedryl and steroid shot. I still cant swallow. she gave me prenisone and omeprazole. I cant swallow the pills. I m really thirsty. don t know what to do.... hoping it stops

Hi,

Each and every medicine is foreign substance to the body so there are chances of an allergic reaction to almost each one of it.

However, every human body reacts differently to these substances so some of them may develop reactions while others may tolerate it.

So Levocetirizine with prednisolone is choice for rashes. Besides heartburn and difficulty in swallowing can be relieved by Omeprazole. However, if it can not be taken orally IV rabeprazole is the other option.

Also, consult a surgeon to rule out intestinal pathology related to difficulty in swallowing.
