Hi,

Apply hot sponges on the boils so that it would decrease pain (if present) / inflammation and reduce in size. Ibugesic drops over the counter can be given (dose to be decided according to weight of the baby). If pus is already formed, boil will rupture. In that case, drain it by gentle pressure, clean and dry it to apply Soframycin skin cream over the counter. If there is fever and a very big boil, you may need antibiotic support. Consult his doctor for that. Continue breast feeds as his routine.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
