Understanding your concern . The symptom you mention in query such as heat stroke, swollen lips, bleeding gums and mouth ulcers are pointing towards condition known as stomatitis. It could be due to excessive exposure to sun, dehydration, poor oral hygiene ,burns from hot food and drinks, allergy or infection. For now avoid hot and spicy food/drinks ,maintain proper oral hygiene and start taking vitamin C supplements which are very helpful in gum swelling.I would suggest you to consult dentist for proper evaluation. .Doctor may perform oral prophylaxis (scaling ).He/she may also prescribe antibiotics course like oral/topical tetracycline if there is any infection and anti histamine drug if there is allergic reaction. Drink plenty of water.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns...
As per your complain the symptoms can either be due to dehydration or can also be due to allergic reaction to any unknown allergen leading to allergic angioedema and apthous stomatitis.. You should consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and he can advise her to take injectable steroids, antiallergics, painkillers and antibiotics for faster improvement in symptoms.. She can also be given saline intravenous infusion to replenish for water and electrolyte loss.. Once the symptoms starts improving she can be shifted to oral medicines and also intake of plenty of fluids and soft diet.. Gargles with numbing mouthwash, taking Ibuprofen and sucking ice and cold water gargles will help.. Do cold compresses over lips.
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
