Suggest Treatment For Heavy Menstrual Bleeding Due To Enlarged Uterus
I am a 34 your old woman with 3 kids and hubby has had a vasectomy. I have been diagnosed with Uterine Polyps, Fibroids- the largest is 5cm, two Nabothian cysts on the cervix and a 7.4 cm simple cyst on the right ovary. I also have PCOS. All causing long heavy and clotty periods and lots of cramping and bladder issues from an enlarged uterus measuring 12.8 W: 5.7 H: 6.1. In your opinion is a request for a hysterectomy reasonable with these symptoms?
Yes, in light of the very heavy and prolonged periods with associated bladder symptoms, it is certainly reasonable to request a hysterectomy especially since your hubby has a vasectomy.
That further points to your desire not to have any additional children.
I hope this helps
