Suggest Treatment For Heavy Menstruation Post Septate Uterus Surgery

I was diagnosed with a septate vagina and uterus. The septum was removed from my vagina and a vaginal band was also taken out in a second operation. The septum in my uterus remains. Since the surgery, my periods have been extremely heavy - on days two and three I am soaking through a large maternity pad (the sort worn after childbirth) every hour, I am soaking bed sheets during the night etc. I was not told that this would be the result and am wondering if it is going to carry on like this forever or will my periods return to normal?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is the menorrhagia then it may not related with the history of surgery and if this is the post surgical event then it is not related with menses, both the conditions needs to be differentiated with each other, (You have not mentioned the age here ) hope this information helps.
