Suggest Treatment For Helicobacter Pylori Infection
I have been diagnosed with helicobacter pylori infection. I finished my 7 day nexium hp7 medication 3 days ago. I am off all medication now and will be returning in 3 weeks for a follow up breath test to see if the infection is gone. Should I be feeling better by now, because I don t. It feels the same as before.
Bacteria Helicobacter may be a difficult issue and sometime it may require multiple antibiotic therapies. so you need to be patient since improvement may take more than several weeks or even few months.
You need to avoid fried food, carbonated drinks, coffee, alcohol and spicy food. You should eat more milk products, vegetables and boiled food.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
