Suggest Treatment For Hemangiomaon On Labia In Infants
My 8 month old daughter has a hemangiomaon her right labia. And it has ruprupture. Its not bbleeding only spotting, and every time shes urinating it hurts her to the point she starts crying hysterically. Dermatologist said to let it be and not remove it that it will fall off by it self, but my baby is hurting what can I do?
Your dermatologist is right, a surgical removal in this age is not the best idea. However, ask your dermatologist to read this study - “Use of propranolol in treating hemangiomas“, in Vol 57: March 2011, Canadian Family Physician. Then listen what he has to say.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Alexander Davis, General & Family Physician
