Hi,I am Raju.A.T (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had some sort of hematoma internally in my penis. Something burst during an erection, causing a large swelling on the side in the middle of the shaft. After two days, a bruise remains, along with a bump in the center, feels like a broken vessel. Will this heal without intervention? Doesn t hurt when flaccid, but I m having a difficult time imagining a life without orgasm. Is there a procedure to repair such damage? (yes, I was wearing a ring at the time, and yes, I m pretty embarrassed. Any advice would be great? YYYY@YYYY
Noted your history of developing a swelling during erection and popping too, used rings, difficult to imagine life without orgasm. It seems from your history that using the ring has caused some vascular damage and thus caused a large gap in the form of a malformation that is being filled during erection and this causing the swelling during erection. The cause can be diagnosed by the following ways: Consult an Urologist for clinical examination, during or after erection may be natural or induced and doing color doppler examination at the same time. This will give the exact diagnosis and thus a plan of surgical management which needs to be done if feasible and effective. Taking some prescribed medicines to avoid erection say for 1-2 weeks may allow small gaps to heal, worth trying.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
