Suggest Treatment For Hepatic Hemangioma Post Gallbladder Removal
My wife 55 years of age has under gone gall bladder removal surgery (leproscopy method) recently After few days of surgery she had pain of anal fissure while passing stool and it is continuing (about one month). Also her abdomen scan report indicates hepatic hemangiomas. Please suggest remedy and precautions
Hello, Welcome to hcm, Treatment of hepatic hemangioma depends on the size. If its small and asymptomatic then you can just have regular followup with ultrasound. If the size is large and painful then you can go for local resection. Hemangioma turning into malignancy is rare. Only complication is sometimes they may spontaneously rupture resulting in bleeding.
Thank you
