Suggest Treatment For Hepatitis-B Infection

HI Doctor,I am infected with Hepatitis B infection....I used to work for a CRO(CLINICAL RESEARCH ORGANIZATION) Company...there i found myself as infcted with HBSAG infection..I have consulted a gastroenterologist doctor and he told me not to worry and advised me to get a vaccination to my wife before marriage. If she gets vaccination,Would she be safe? I m really worried abt my situation. I drink and smoke. Do i need to stop them completely? Are they going to damage me more in terms of the disease. I m planning to take more beetroot juice... Would that help me in puryfying blood and get rid of this disease. Pls suggest me a doctor.

thanks for posting query at HCM.

treatment for HepB infection depends on Viral Load and liver enzymes count. a high value of enzymes and a high viral load via PCR test requires immediate medical treatment.

secondly, your wife should complete the HepB vaccination series before you both have sexual contact. after the vaccination, she will develop immunity against hepB virus and nothing to worry.
