Hi, I was diagnosed with hepatitis B three years back, since then I have been worried what will happen to me, a friend of mine told me to be taking camel milk which I started 2 weeks back, please can you help me on how to cure or what to do to cure Hepatitis B
Hi, Welcome to HCM. It is unfortunate that you have caught up with Hepatits B infection. Since the acute phase is over, you need to prevent its complications. It is not sure Camel milk will help in much possible way, except that it may improve your immunity. Now you may have to take treatment to reduce the risk of liver disease and prevent you from passing the infection to others. Treatments include: 1. Antiviral medications like lamivudine, adefovir, telbivudine and entecavir — can help fight the virus and slow its ability to damage your liver. 2. Interferon alfa-2b (Intron A) is a synthetic compound of a substance produced by the body to fight infection. It is used mainly for young people with hepatitis B. It is an injectable form. 3. Liver transplant for severely damaged, a liver transplant may be an option. Hope this information provided helps you. Wish you good health.
