General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* Hiatus hernia cure is only by surgical correction, though primary measures will help reduce the symptomatic severity

- semi-reclining position when resting, up the position of the head end of the bed
- frequent, small amount of food intake

- avoidance of dairy fat, spices, non-veg
- control of body weight, cholesterol, blood sugar
- proton pump inhibitor and gastric prokinetic agents
- regular exercises, meditation, YOGA
- avoidance of smoking, alcohol if consuming.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
