Suggest Treatment For Hiatus Hernia And Esophagitis

Hi,we have an 11 month old son and he s been diagnosed with hiatus hernia (small),reflux and esophagitis stage 1b.He is currently taking omeprazole 10mg daly.When is he likely to outgrow the condition?Our doctors in Germany do not suggest surgery.
