General & Family Physician, Dr. Padmaja's Response
I can understand your concern. Fluctuations of BP in work place could be due to stress.A combination of drugs will help reduce the BP effectively than increasing the dose of a single agent.continue taking Edarbyclor 40mg along with Bystolic 5 mg daily in the morning. Along with the medications, its important to restrict salt and to follow healthy lifestyle.Try doing yoga and meditation to combat stress. If the blood pressure is not getting controlled, its better to consult your physician. He will be able to perform certain tests to rule out the cause for resistant hypertension. Hope my advise was helpful to you.
