Suggest Treatment For High BP

My blood pressure has been high today 143/98 and currently, 147/103. First time having high b/p was over a year ago, took meds about 3 mths and haven t had any problems or taken meds since then. I still have some, hydrochlorothiazide 25mg. Should I go ahead and take one of those? Also, I haven t been on my treadmill in four days and would like to start back up again, but afraid to with b/p being up? Thanks so much for your help :)

Pulmonologist 's  Response
Hello,

You can take one pill now and arrange a consultation with your cardiologist to restart the treatment. You can not do treadmill now. After starting the treatment and stabilizing the arterial pressure you can do it.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jolanda Nikolla, Pulmonologist
