Suggest Treatment For High Blood Pressure And Difficulty Talking

I am having difficulty talking ... pronouncing the words correctly. This is only happened today. I seem to not be able to pronounce words that I use all the time correctly. I can write letters, read words fine and think clearly but they are not coming out of my mouth correctly, transposing syllables or mispronouncing them. I feel fine, am not sick and feel no stress, except with the most recent phenomenon that started this morning when I got to work. I am worried since this has never happened to me before. no history of high blood pressure, no neurological history ( except for migraines) no heart or stroke problems. Good height 5 8 and weight 132 pounds. Rarely sick.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Consult a physician and get evaluated.

You have to start on antihypertensives meds to make your blood pressure under control.

Avoid excessive salt intake also.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
