Suggest Treatment For High Blood Pressure, Chills And Tinnitus
My husband has not been feeling well he went to the dr because his blood pressure has been very high the dr changed him no med but it didn t help they changed it again. It s been a week with the new med and it hasn t changed still very high and he s getting chills and ringing in his ears. Do you think he should go to the dr?

Tinnitus is a common issue and most causes are benign and temporary. However it this lasts for longer period then it should be evaluated.
Tinnitus can occur due to causes like chronic ear infection, perforated eardrum, Eustachian tube dysfunction, Meniere's disease, TMJ disorders, Acoustic Neuroma etc.
Tinnitus is not a disease in itself but it is a symptom that indicates that there is some underlying illness. I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Audiometry, x-ray MRI can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly.
In case if ringing does not resolve then you can be advised medicines like Tricyclic Anti-depressant like Amitryptiline, anti-anxiety medication like Alprazolam, as well as Multivitamin supplements can be advised.
