HI, thanks for using healthcare magic
The blood sugar in a diabetic is suppose to be less than 180 , 2 hours after a meal, fasting and premeal blood sugars are supposed to range from 70 to 126.
198 is also a high reading.
If you are known diabetic ,these readings would indicate that the blood sugars are not in control.
If you are not a known diabetic, these readings would diagnose you as a diabetic.
If are a diabetic on
insulin and you know how to correct or bring down your blood sugar levels based on your body's response to insulin, then you should take a correction dose.
If you are not sure how to correct or bring down these values or you are not on insulin, then it would be best to see your doctor for assessment and treatment.
You may not experience immediate symptoms but in the long term, these values would cause damage that may be irreversible.
In addition to diet changes and activity, your medication may need to be adjusted.
I hope this helps
