My mother is patient of diabetes type from last 3year,her age is about 55. Her fasting blood sugar remains between 130 to 160.She is using metoformin hcl 1000mg tablet twice a day and getryl before breakfast once a day. Now doctors prescribed her insulin N ..20units once day. Please advise me weather she can use Insulin R because sugar level is not coming under range. She take care of her diet. Do we need any other tests??
