Suggest Treatment For High Cholesterol And BP Levels
I am seeing red lines from left to right as I m reading I don t see them in my regular vision but when I m reading which I read a lot I see redlines what could that be and what do I do? Also just to let you know I have high cholesterol high blood pressure and diabetes type II.
Dear Patient Your vision problem can be due to your diabetes, and hence a consultation from an ophtalmologist is needed to see if you have any diabetic retinopathy. You blood pressure and cholesterol level and glucose levels should be all well controlled. Treatment of high BP is by giving antihypertensives, the first line treatment in your case since you have diabetes is to take ACE inhibitors or ARBs. The high cholesterol level should be controlled with statins (simvastatin, atorvastatin...) and your blood glucose level should be controlled by taking diabetic agents, we start with metformin and add medications accordingly to have the best control of your glucose level. Best regards
