Suggest Treatment For High Cholesterol Level

Hi My age is 33 yrs. Yesterday I done my pre medical examination as I will be joining an mnc company. All the reports were ok except the cholesterol level. It is 239 total cholesterol. Please guide. Also I am tensed if the company rates me un fit for employment. Regards, Gomed

I understand your concern.
Based on the report you have furnished, your Total Cholesterol level with 239 mg/dl is definitely on the higher side.
May be that might not be a criteria for your company to reject an appointment as cholesterol levels can be brought down to normal and kept under control by means of diet, exercise and drugs.
Cholesterol lowering medications named 'statins' are available, which can be administered by Physician after going through your complete report on 'lipid profile'.
Since you are 33 years of age, you can also lower and control cholesterol level by means of diet and regular exercise.
Kindly consult Physician for proper clinical examination, evaluation and management.
