Suggest Treatment For High Cholesterol Levels

I have not seen a doctor in around 3 years. I use to see a doctor every year. I did Have high cholesterol but my good cholesterol levels where very high... so he told me not to worry about it. Was this good advice? I am 62, very active and eat quite well, Salmon, REAL butter, fruits, berries, vegetable and greens. I feel more like 42....

Hello,

High cholesterol is a risk factor for cardiac complications and heart attack. Considering your age, you have to maintain optimum cholesterol status.

Go for a fasting cholesterol level and total cholesterol is above 200, drugs like statins has to be. started.

Avoid oily foods and do regular exercises to reduce blood cholesterol without drugs.
