Suggest Treatment For High Cholesterol

Hi, I'm a type 1 one diabetic and age 35 with high cholesterol. My blood sugars had been in poor control but have improved greatly the last few years. But now my feet AND legs are numb and cramp a great deal when I try to lay down at night. It is more pain and cramping than numbness.

Hello,I have gone through your query. Thanks for using HCM.
As you have stated your sugar control was poor initially but now under better control.i would like to know your latest HBA1C which will give us correct idea of control of your diabetes. You must keep level of HBA1C below 7%.your numbness and cramps are due to Diabetic neuropathy comblication of diabetes involving peripheral nerves..It has developed because poor control of sugar over fairly long period.so now it takes long time to stabilise, it may reverse or may not.you should take Pregabalin and Methyl cobalamine for controlling numbness and crapms.Though most important thing is tight control of blood sugar.
My best wishes
