Suggest Treatment For High Fever And Cough

I m a 45 year old female that works in healthcare. I seem to have contracted a URI that has been spreading through our patients and staff. I ve had a temp of 99.0-99.7 for four days. I ve had plenty of rest and fluids but continue with the elevated temp and non productive productive constant cough (feels like I m drowning). Throat is starting to get slight soreness. I m scheduled to work 12 hours tomorrow. Should I see my physician before reporting to work? My usual temp is around 97.5-98.

welcome to hcm,
hoefully you are suffering from a viral infection or flu.
antibiotics will not be effective so have plenty of water and if you have low grade fever, symptomatic treatment will be needed like taking acetaminophen or paracetamol.
see your physician if you continue to have such illness.
