Suggest Treatment For High Fever And High SGPT Levels
Hello doctor,my mother(56 yrs) had high fever around 102-102 degrees 2-3 days back....had done a blood test for malaria and typhoid (came negative ) but the haematology report shows in early stages of clinical malaria due to parasitaemia...malarial parasites may not be seen in peripheral blood smear . Her SGPT and SGOT levels are also a bit high. She is on antibiotic cefixime.The fever is low but recurrent but low and she s sometimes having little burning sensation in palms and soles...please advise
Sorry to know that and your concern. This is viral fever. Please take tab. Crocin thrice a day for fever. High fluid and water intake. Make sure she consumes food usually. Fever shall take a week to come down and disappear. Its a viral fever and shall take a little time. No additional treatment is required.
