Suggest Treatment For High Fever And Skin Allergy In A Child

sir, my 4 yrs daughter got high fever with severe skin allergy all over her body. and this situation has repeated itself after 7 months. similar thing happened in the month of Dec also. earlier doc prescribed atarax with calamine lotion. This tym a peditricin prescribed Omnicrotil syrup and Hydrocorstine cream , which i felt is heavy dose for my 4 n half year daughter weighing 16 kg. Last nyt she was in heigh fever with 104° temp. For fever meflocid DT 100 mg tablet was prescribed. but still she got fever above 101°. plz suggest.. shall i go ahead with this heavy dose or shift to PCM+ atarax+ calamine. can a child be given pcm syrup along with atarax?? and i didnt understand why this allergy reoccures tonher. i felt she got allergy with syrup used for treating cough n cold. soon after cough n cold she experinces this high fever n skin allergy condition. plz suggest the best appropriated way to treat her.

Hello,

It may be due to allergic reactions. For that you can apply hydrocortisone ointment locally. You can give syp allegra after pediatrician consultation.

For fever you can give syp acetaminophen. Watch for symptoms like breathing difficulty, dehydration. Avoid allergens and harsh cosmetic products.
