Suggest Treatment For High Fever And Vomiting

Good morning Sir, my girlfriend had high fever from day before yesterday. The thermometer reading was 102 F on that day. Yesterday morning the situation got a little better and the fever was 100 F. But today at around 1:05 am I got a message from her that she is having high fever and she is also vomiting. My girlfriend is with her parents and continuously consulting physicians but I am really worried right now for her. So I thought that it would be better if I consult her situation with some world famous doctors like you. So I am writing to you. This is my first such letter to you. Please do tell me what is wrong with her and what is the remedy. Moreover yesterday she told me that the fever may be for her tonsil. She also have a touch of tonsil. Please help me Sir.

Hello, Thanks for consulting HCM.
The reason of fever is normally season and location specific. With no location given by you and no other associated symptoms, it would be difficult to suggest the cause of fever.
Of general measures: If she is having difficulty and pain during swallowing and if she has enlarged tonsils- which she can see in the mirror, I would have advised her an antibiotic to start - like augmentin 625 twice daily, a pain killer which will also take care of her fever - like combiflam 3 times a day and an antacid with antiemetic, as she is vomiting too, like pantocid dsr twice daily.
Watch for 2-3 days and is symptoms goes down - nothing to worry - but if no relief - of course get an advise of a physician and get blood tests done.
