Suggest Treatment For High Fever, Headache And Leg Pain
My husband (72 years old) had a high fever this morning ( 102.0) and a headache. He no longer has a fever (98.3) after two doses of Advil over 8 hours, but the headache persists and he now also has leg pain in his right leg. He says it hurts to touch his leg. I don t notice any swelling in his leg and there seems to be a strong pulse down around his ankle. Is the leg pain a concern?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, such fever needs to be kept under observation for some time because it could be viral infection and it may not needs any specific treatment if the febrile condition remains as it is then better to get done the routine blood test with clinical examination till the for fever Tab Acetaminophen 500 mg can be tried and take care for good hydration hope this information helps.
