Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi Doctor I am Raghavendra. My niece is suffering from fever from last two days. After a blood checkup today morning, doctor says she is affected with typhoid, denguie and malaria. Is it possible to get all these diseases at one time if so which is good hospital to go ahead.
Hello and welcome to HCM, Co-infection of malaria, typhoid and dengue is possible. However, I feel that your doctor has given possibility of one of these infections- malaria, typhoid or dengue rather than presence of all these infections. I suggest you to get the tests for all these investigations. Your doctor ma also have suggested you to get investigations for these infections. If any of these tests is positive appropriate treatment can be planned by your doctor.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
