Suggest Treatment For High Fever In A Child

Sir,My baby suffering from fever last 4 days she has continuous fever within 6hours after gave medicine like Peracetamol-125,Oral suspension then within 30 minute she is going relax from fever but after some hours she has back last fever condition.I have done malaria test and CBC test both are normal so please best suggest me to relief fast and permanent for fever of my 9+months of baby.

Hello,

I would recommend you, for the next 2 days, to give paracetamol 15 mg/kg every 6 hours. Paracetamol works for 4-6 hours and after this time the fever may come back. If you give paracetamol every 6 hours you will prevent the fever from coming back.
Also, you will need to make sure your child is taking enough fluids (water, milk, etc). You may give water, milk and other healthy fluids in frequent small amounts to keep her hydrated.

If you notice no improvement of her symptoms with these measures or if you notice any worsening you will need to have her checked by her doctor.
