my name ismary I am 57 years old in good healthn normally. in the last five weeks I have hospitalized 3 times. they kept me each time between one and two days and discharged me. my symptoms are high fever between 100 and .9 at certain times during the day and nuight. my legs are swollen five times their normal times. from the tip of my toes up to my knees. they are extremely red lke a bad sunburn. they are very painful a throbbing pain and stabbing pain. from the tips of my toes the bottom of my feet and up to my knees. they have diagnosed me with a few first they said it was an infection caused by dirty water and I probabobably had a small cut in my legs and the bacteria was under my skin. then they said it was gout. in both feet and legs is that possible. I have been to my primary care doctor three times in five weeks as well. I have had multiple x rays the vein test. ultrasound on my legs and cat scans. I keep ngetting different opinions depending what doctor I see. in the hospital they gave me iv s=levoquin whuch helped each time. it seemed ti help a little bit, he pain subsided for a while and the redness was reduced. the fevers went away,so I was discharged each time after 2 0r 3 days at home with oral antibiotics the symptoms returned bad. the last time I was in the hospital 4 days ago I saw an Ifectious disease dr and she said I had got and prescribed COLCHONE FOR GOUT it is not really working.. the antibiotics I have been on are lrvoquin iv and orally that seems to help more than the others.
