Suggest Treatment For High Fever, Profuse Sweating And Shivering
19 yr old son has been poorly for nearly 3 wks. Started with shiver,temperature of 38 degrees then profuse sweating at night which he still has. Originally had blood in urine but test result showed no infection.Developed tonsilitis after 2wks. ALT 167, Platelets 97. Liver ultrasound done - liver OK, spleen enlarged. Can you diagnose please?
Please do these lab tests: - Urinalysis and culture and sensitivity
- Also, titre (test is antizymogen if available] - Bun, creatinine, CBC and blood examination This needs proper diagnosis [at least rule out poststrep glomerulonephritis].
