i have for 3 wks now had a very sore and tender thyroid. i have seen an endocrinologist and my gp. they thought i had hashimotos. but test came back negative. i have now since last fri been feeling very viral. grippy , very tired. went to dr. today she tested me for strep, limes and mono. i have felt horrible for the whole week and have had to take advil just to feel normal. now today my heart rate has been 100 all day. i noticed because i feel a little jumpy. they said i have thyroiditis which can make the thyroid hyper. can that cause the heart to race or could my heart rate be fast because i am sick. i don t know what to do i feel like i am just going in circles and feeling more and more sick. i am turning 50 in a month. i am also getting a biopsy because i have nodules in the thyroid. help........ sally
