General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello, my name is Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi. I understand your concern.
Your are already taking suspension so I can give you some advices :
1)Changes in your diet can help both prevent and treat high potassium levels.
-Limit or avoid asparagus, avocados, potatoes, tomatoes or tomato sauce, winter squash, pumpkin, and cooked spinach
-Limit or avoid oranges and orange juice, nectarines, kiwifruit, raisins, or other dried fruit, bananas, cantaloupe, honeydew, prunes, and nectarines
2)Avoid taking salt substitutes if you are asked to eat a low-salt diet
3)Reduce or stop potassium supplements
4)Stop or change the doses of medicines if you are taking, such as ones for heart disease and high blood pressure
Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help, thanks!
