Hello,

you haven't included enough details to completely assess your father's situation but I'll try to give you some ideas.
First of all, is he on treatment for TB? TB is a deadly disease if left untreated and contagious too! All your family should be tested and treated depending on the results.
His blood sugar won't get any better easily because diabetes gets worse when during the course of another disease. His blood sugar levels would likely be hard to control without insulin. A good diet is essential as well but considering his TB problem this is not the main issue.
I couldn't give you more specific advice because I do not have enough information for his condition.
For example: does he already take any medications for diabetes? What are they?
Any other medical problems and treatments?
Does he take anti-TB treatment?
What about other risk factors like his blood pressure, cholesterol levels, smoking status etc?
I hope I've given you something to consider.
If you need more information, please ask again including more details about your father's condition.

Kind Regards!
