I have had my back fused at L1 to L3,2 yrs ago. Now I have my left leg and hip pain getting worse over the last 3 wks,to the point of pain almost to point that I can,t walk. I have an appointment with Doc to-morrow. Is there quick trick to relive pain long enough to be able to do anything for a short time?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I suggest you to relieve hip pain hold ice to the area for about 15 minutes a few times a day. Try to rest the affected joint as much as possible until you feel better.

You may also try heating the area. A warm bath or shower can help ready your muscle for stretching exercises that can lessen pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
