Suggest Treatment For Hives And Low Grade Fever

My daughter has had hives for over 8 months. She started xolair shots 5 months ago and still takes allergy medicine on top of it. She is still getting hives, she never feels good. She has body aches, sometimes a headache, sometimes a low grade fever Her eyes have swelled up for a day here and there. What should she be tested for.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It is just a viral fever. As a first line management you can take acetaminophen for fever and antihistamines like Cetrezine for eruptions. Generally it will settle in couple of days. If lesion persists better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
