Suggest Treatment For Hives On The Back After Quitting Alcohol

Hi, I quit drinking alcohol over three years ago because I was starting to get hives/welts (the size of nickels) on my back and around my body the day following my drinking. When I was younger I went to the ER for what turned out to be a panic attack due to alcohol withdrawel. I was prescribed lorazepam. Over the next year I would take lorazepam the day after I would drink to decrease my anxiety. I m curious if the hives were the result of having alcohol in my system when I took the lorazepam (if it was an wffect from the combination) or if it was from the alcohol? I do not think I m allergic to alcohol because I still use alcohol based mouthwash and never develop symptoms. From time to time I wish to have a drink of wine or a beer when at special events or dinner but I have a fear of suffering some kind of reaction. I am just wondering what this reaction may be caused by. I have drank alcohol since I was 16 and did not develop such symptoms until I was 28. Thanks.

Hi,

The cause of getting hives following drinking alcohol:
First: Alcohol often contains very high content of ethanol
Second: Because the vascular system is hypersensitive to ingredients in alcohol
Third: Because in alcohol contains active allergens
Fourth: Due to an allergy to yeast

You may wonder why this situation did not happen before and only now. I have cases like you most of people due to using alcohol, beer for a while the toxins deposited in tissues, especially in the liver after a period of combining with other beneficial factors. leading to onset of skin conditions. And I advise them:
* Immediately stop drinking alcohol.
* Drink plenty of filtered water to dilute toxins in the body, support effective elimination.
* Regularly add juices
* Absolutely not to empty stomach when drinking alcohol.
* Daily use of herbal teas, detoxifying the liver:Honey ginger tea; Chrysanthemum tea; atiso tea.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
