Suggest Treatment For Hives On The Body
my 35 year old daughter that lives with me has what looks like giant hives. some patches are 3 inches around We can t figure out anything different she s eaten or used. she takes thyroid medication, birth control and sertraline. the doctors thought she she had hep c. then they said that it was in a remission before she went on anything

Hives that are giant are a reason to have a fairly complete work up. IT is often an autoimmune disease some of which can cause burn-like effects.
It could be the sertraline or even the thyroid medicine (I've had one patient with allergy to the thyroid medicine Synthroid).
Biopsy of the hives is often helpful to see if it is autoimmune.
