Suggest Treatment For Hives On The Upper Torso

I have hives all over my upper body, including my face. I donated blood yesterday, and I m not allergic to latex. No new chemicals appear to be at my workplace or at home. I first noticed the hives after I got to work. I don t know if it s a reaction from the blood donation or an allergic reaction to something unknown.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Thank you for your question. If you give blood to others so you are not the one who get the reaction. If you can not find out what is the trigger to make you get rash you can try antihistamine. See a doctor right away if you suddenly get hives or get puffy and also have any of these symptoms: trouble breathing, tightness in the throat, nausea and vomiting, cramps or stomach pain, passing out.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
