Hello Doctor, I'm Samhita Das, a 21-year-old girl from West Bengal. In April 2009 I was hospitalized with Steven Johnson's Syndrome after I took Eptoin for 2 weeks for no reasons as such. I neither had any epilepsy type symptom nor had any such history in my family. It was a case of wrong medication. I was hospitalized for 10 days & got 95% of my body severely hyper-pigmented. Since I got discharged from the hospital I've tried a lot of medicines but nothing seemed to be much effective for the pigmentation & scars that I got from SJ Syndrome. For the last 2 months I've been using Ban-a-tan with Venusia lotion in 1:3 ratio in the morning & Brite-Day cream with Dermadew lotion in 1:3 ratio in the morning & also taking Antoxid HC capsules everyday. As a result the pigmentation & scars have become lighter but still they r very much noticeable. I still need to wear full-sleeve clothes that cover me from neck to toe. Please Doctor suggest me something so that I can get rid of this skin & get back my original fair & glowing skin. I'm ready to undergo any measure of treatment. I'm desperate. I'm under acute depression & I get the feeling that I won't be able to survive for long if I have to live like this. I'll go mad. Please Doctor, do something. Waiting for a ray of hope from you.
