hi, i am Fatima i have hyperplasia of glandular epithelium with expansion of milk duct 2.1mm . predominately in marginal layers were determined nidi of denser fibrosis perceived by palpation as nodules . ligamentous apparatus developed normally and axillary node not located the hormone levels prolactin 353.6 mlu/ml .. follicle stimulating hormone 4.16 mlu/ml luteinizing hormone 7.21 mlu/ ml
Your blood tests reveal hyperprolactinemia. Most commonly it is due to some chronic drug intake like antacid medications or antipsychotic medications. But other conditions can also lead to hyperprolactinemia. Most importantly, it could be due to some pituitary tumor. Other conditions that lead to hyperprolactinemia include hypothyroidism, chest wall injury or rash, excessive nipple stimulation etc.
So you need to get evaluated properly with history, physical exam and relevant investigations to reach a proper diagnosis.
Hyperprolactinemia, even if it is due to pituitary tumor, can be easily treated with medicines in most of the cases. So you should see an Endocrinologist as early as possible.
