Suggest Treatment For Hypochondria

Hi the last few days i have been experiencing food getting a little stuck in my throat after swallowing.I suffer from health anxiety and now as soon as i pick up a knife and fork or am about to eat i start to get anxious.I spoke to my doctor and she seems to think it is anxiety related and didnt seem concerned.Being a terrible hypochondriac im convinced of course that its throat cancer or eseophagus cancer.Im 46 years old.I like a drink and smoke a few fags on weekends.I had a tube down my throat 2 years ago and all was fine.I dont get heartburn and my voice is fine.No cough either but worried.Should i be reassurred by my doctors advice or are you going to tell me to seek further tests so as to cover yourself?Thank you ,Jon.
