Suggest Treatment For Hypothyroidism And Vitamin B-12 And D Deficiencies

Hi, I m Niv an India living in Australia. I feel hungry all the time but i don t like to eat anything. Sugar is horrible, spice i can handle but the regular indian spices have become my enemy. I used to like them very much. It just makes me sick now. Anything I eat makes me feel sick or in other words i don t like it. I can t stop my hunger but at the same time I don t want to eat anything. Sometimes I force myself to eat but i feel hungry just after half an hour. I have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism, vitamin b- 12 deficiency and Vitamin D deficiency. Should i go see a doctor? Please advise. Thank You

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The vitamin B 12 and vitamin D deficiencies are managed by supplements of vitamin B 12 and vitamin D.
Vitamin D can be taken in the form of liquid prepration, tablet form or powder form weekly for two months.
Thereafter the vitamin D levels need to be checked.
If vitamin D levels are within normal range, maintainence therapy once or twice a month need to be taken.
Vitamin B 12 can be taken in the form of injectables or in the form of oral capsule.
I suggest you to consult your physician for prescription of the vitamins.
Hypothyroidism needs to be managed by thyroid replacement with thyroxine.
I suggest you to consult your physician for prescription of thyroid replacement with thyroxine.
The thyroid function tests need to be monitored regularly after starting the therapy.

Thanks and take care
