Suggest Treatment For Hypothyroidism

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... I am 35 year old woman with two kids aged 8 and 2 . I suffer from menstural problems, bleeding is heavy and lasts many days. Earlier i got D&C done too. the result was hyperplasia of endometrium which the doctor said was due to hormonal imbalance. I was on the pill for six months. then six months periods were regular.Gain i had heavy bleeding. pv was done ,it seemed like hormonal imbalance again. I also got thyroid done and it was positive- TSH is 10.20...hypothyriodism. what can be done to get normal Anu..from India i

Brief answer: Thyroid hormone replacement therapy
Detailed answer: If i were your treating physician,would have suggested initially levothyroxine tablet once a day morning on empty stomach according to your body weight(approx 75 to 100mcg) for 6 weeks and follow up with TSH report for any dose alteration if needed to bring back normal TSH.I advise you to discuss this with an endocrinologist who is expertise with.Hope this information helps you.If any questions,happy to answer you.Take care.
