Suggest Treatment For Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension
One january 15th all of sudden i had headache n neckpain followed by neckpain. I met the doctor and found i had idiopathic intracabial hypertension... Since then problems increased. I got admitted to hospital and within two days i lost all of my vision too. Finally i moved to better hospital wher in order to control brain pressure they did lumbur puncture and medication strted. Within a week vision got restored for one eye and it got better day by day but for other eye im still struggling. Two weeks back i had my eye surgery called ONSF. But even after that i dont find much difference in the vision... Medication is also running parallelly for that pressure n all... Im worried for my eye as well as brain pressure.. 23 Female
After going through your medical query I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that some of the damage which was recovered in brain with surgery gave you your vision back but may be other site is damaged which is why you didn't get your vision back. Kindly consult a neuro physician with your reports for better opinion.
Hopefully this information will guide you properly.
Kind Regards Dr Bhanu Partap
