Suggest Treatment For Immediate Suffocation After Cough
I am worried about my cough. I can t breath after my cough and I have to gasp for air. Then my eyes start to water. I catch my breath slowly then after that it s fine and then I have short coughs that are normal, like clearing your throat. I haven t had these coughs before, so I don t know what s wrong.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of immediate suffocation after cough which is due to severe upper respiratory tract infection. It seems due to poor immunity of body you are highly susceptible and prone to infections. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to start with course of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs.You should avoid hot, sharp and spicy foods. For now do warm saline rinses , take rest. Avoid taking cold beverages. You should take mast cell stabilizers to prevent from infection. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist without any delay . Doctor may order blood test , throat swab test. You should get an x ray of the chest. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics amoxicillin at least for 10 days along with mucolytic agents. Go for complete blood count and platelet count to rule out any hidden systemic pathology.
