Suggest Treatment For Immobility Of Entire Right Arm After Injury
Last July 1st while hiking I slipped and fell hitting my right upper arm very hard on a tree, I feared I had broken something but could move the arm , my hand and fingers. Now mid September 10 weeks later I still experience severe, sharp pain when moving my arm in certain but not all directions.I am a 75 year old female and have good general health.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have immobility of entire right arm after injury . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like fracture or soft tissue injury . Sometimes calcification in joint occur due to trauma or there is malunion of bones after mild fracture . All the above factors can restrict movements . I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may reunite the bone correctly and give plaster , prescribe muscle relaxant along with anti inflammatory and recommend physical therapy .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
