Suggest Treatment For Impaired Vision And Light Sensitivity In Eyes

Hi, back in August I come in contact with some poison oak from being in the woods. I started messing with it on my hands and mashed the water blisters that appeared, the juice got in my left eye. In the mornings I put my contacts in and as the day goes on I start to lose my vision. When I focus on things I begin to lose my vision. I did go the the eye doctor and they prescribed me to some eye drops that never helped. My eyes are constantly red, burning, and sensitive to the light. The doctor said the reason why I lose my vision is because the white blood cells are moving in to fight the infection but it still hasn't cleared up yet and got better. Right now I am having a very hard time even being able to read my lap top screen which is right in front of me. I am so afraid I am going to go completely blind if I cant get it treated correctly. Please help me it has been over two months and it is just getting worse.

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
From your history, it seems you initially had chemical injury affecting cornea which gets aggravated by unnecessary intense rubbing & wrong medications... So I advice to consult a good corneal surgeon / nearest government or any charitable iinstitute because their doctors are much reliable and give authentic opinions...

Secondly talking about those white blood cells sounds more likely to be a case of uveitis which needs steroids for treatment but under supervision only because it can often worsen corneal damage too ...

So I advice a repeat check up from a famous Ophthalmologist of your city... Because all things can't be solved here without seeing clinical picture as far as eye is concerned...
